In 1984, Diego Maradona arrived in Naples from Barcelona. In 1991 he left the club with an immortal status, having delivered two Scudetto's in 1987 and 1989.
Considered by many to be the greatest player of all time, the Argentine number 10 is very possibly the most controversial. From his Hand of God goal against England in 1986, to his World Cup wins with the Argentine national team, his ban for cocaine abuse in 1994 and his hard to watch downward sprial since his retirement, Maradona is never far from controversy and is one of the most colourful and decorated characters in football's history.
